About Lesson

Session Duration: 10 minutes
Objective: Establish a welcoming environment, assess participants’ current stress levels, and encourage openness.

Activities:

  • Greet participants and encourage them to share one positive thing that happened since the last session.
  • Conduct a brief “Mood Scale Check” (1 to 10, where 1 is very relaxed, and 10 is very stressed). Watch the video below for an example of how to go about it:

  • Reflect on any homework or self-practice assigned in the previous session.

Tips:

  • Use open-ended questions to prompt sharing, e.g., “What techniques have you tried to manage stress recently?”
  • Document recurring themes to tailor future sessions.
